See. Imagine yourself in a state of well being. Achieving your goals begins with your imagination. Our media culture feeds us countless ideas and images of well being in terms of youth, beauty, fitness, and material wealth and abundance. If you go inside of yourself, you might see in your mind's eye the pictures of yourown well being. Allow them to crystallize. Trust that they are true. Your own ideas and images of well being are all that matter.
Say. Articulate what "well being" means to you. Begin to describe your idea of well being in words, first in writing and then aloud. These can be words that describe the images you see in your mind's eye, or words that describe the feelings that you feel when you see these images. What do you see when you see yourself in a state of well being? What are you doing? What does it feel like? Once the words are spoken, the echoes of those words will always serve as reminders of your dreams.
Decide. Determine that you want to achieve this state. One of the most fundamental elements of achievement is desire. Desire leads to motivation, which leads to action which leads to achievement. Is your desire really there? Do you want to achieve that state of well being that you had envisioned and described? Note that these are not "can you" questions, but "do you want to" questions. When you know that what you imagine is what you really want, you are set for change to happen.
Act. Plan the journey to achieving your dreams. When you've decided that you want to accomplish something, start making a plan. You can begin with just one or two action items that will start the process towards achieving it. Acting on your decision is the "boldness" of the famous Goethe quote below; it is what establishes your commitment to your goals. Once you commit, you may be surprised to find circumstances and events arising almost magically to help you along your path.
"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!"
